Jayne LaNelle Chandler

Jayne LaNelle (Rings) Chandler, Age 59, of Columbus, Ohio passed away of natural causes while on vacation in Destin, Florida on Friday, June 10th, 2022. A graduate of West High School class of 1981, she went on to Nationwide Cosmetology School. Jayne was a social butterfly in life and the rock in our family. A very hard worker, Jayne was a cosmetologist for 15 and worked for AY Manufacturing for 18 years. Jayne lived most of her life on the west side of Columbus, Ohio aside from the year she resided in Alpena, MI as a child. Jayne loved northern Michigan and loved family vacations there. Jayne was a kind soul who knew no enemies. She loved family dinners, holiday traditions, and long conversations on the phone or sitting around the table with a cup of coffee. Most of all she loved family. Her legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of everyone she interacted with.
A devoted wife for 36 years, she was proceeded in death by husband Gary Chandler who passed just 9 months ago. Also proceeded in death by father, Jerry Rings; mother, Phyllis (Hamilton) Rings; father-in-law Dencil Chandler; and sister-in-law Denise (Chandler) Nelson.
Jayne is survived by children Meghan (David) Bergunzi, Kyle (Kelsey) Chandler; granddaughter Abigail Bergunzi; brothers Jim (Sandy) Rings; Jeff (Sarah) Rings, Jay (Theresa) Rings; sister Julie (Brett) Gilillian; mother-in-law Shirley Chandler; brothers-in-law Dwayne (Ginny) Chandler, Dennis (Kim) Chandler, John Nelson; sister-in-law Tammy (Hobert) Chandler; lifelong friend Kammy Ream and many beloved nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and her three fur babies Braxton, Bella, and Henry. She will be dearly missed by all.
We will be celebrating Jayne's life with a service and meal on July 9th, 2022 at 11:00 am at Briggs Road Baptist Church located at 3231 Briggs Rd. Columbus, OH 43204.
