Mattie Rose Peterson, 83, of Stanton, Kentucky passed away on Thursday August 4, 2022.​

Mattie Rose Peterson, beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother went to be with her Lord on August 4, 2022, in Pensacola, Florida, at age 83.
​
Rose, born January 11, 1939, was born in Stanton, Kentucky to Edna (Huff) and Lawrance Castle. She was preceded in death by her husband, Philip Peterson and grandson, Stephen Michaud. 
​ 
She is survived by her two daughters Robin Tapley and Kimberley Becker, and three sons Tony Larsen,
Dana Larsen, and Sean Peterson, thirteen grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren.
The family would like to thank Baptist Hospital Sinu and Covenant Care Hospice for their love and
kindness.
A memorial and celebration of life will be held at a future date.
